Implementation Background
In the specialty gas business, cylinder management is fundamentally a matter of quality and safety. That management was scattered across multiple systems.
Ecount, AX 4.0, MIS, and Excel operated separately with insufficient interfaces between systems, making it difficult to provide real-time management information
Back orders, MPS/MRP, and real-time mid-month inventory management were difficult to handle, leaving purchasing, production, and inventory decisions dependent on manual work
Cylinder management functions were duplicated across the ERP, MES, and separate systems, limiting data consistency, upgrades, and maintenance
Needed to link specification data with the ERP and MES to integrate manufacturing, quality, and cylinder operations under a single standard

Results
Rule-Based Validation Framework Established
We built a structure of rule/event-based pre-monitoring, process control, and post-event alarms, and the system enforces Right Spec, Right Cylinder, Right Date, along with re-export, OOT, FIFO, and dedicated-cylinder conditions.
ERP–MES Connectivity
We connected order intake, planning, work orders, production results, inventory, and shipping — enabling timely visibility into process and inventory status.
Cylinder Traceability Secured
We manage shipping, return, input, and inspection history by specification, serial number, lot, and location.
Planning & Analytics Dashboards
We provide MPS/MRP, back order, ATP, inventory, receivables, and forecast analysis through Power BI dashboards.
